Aperture Dental Practice, one way of keeping our costs affordable for our patients is the efficient use of equipment and our staff. Please understand that missed or broken appointments represent a cost to us, and to other patients who could have been seen in the time set aside for you.
Your appointment is our priority. This means that your time is reserved exclusively for you. We do not double book our clients (i.e. we schedule appointments for one patient per dentist, and dedicate our resources to that patient for that time slot.)
Please note that a $50 fee may apply for Missed Appointments and Last Minute Cancellations.
Late arrivals mean less time for your appointment. This also means rushing for the planned treatment, and potentially running late for the next client.
If you think you are/will be running late, please give us a ring to let us know, so we can make appropriate arrangements for your appointment.
Please note that arriving too late may result in a Last Minute Cancellation Fee.
Our front office staff will aim to place a courtesy reminder call or SMS to you 48 hours prior to your appointment.
Please bear in mind that if you do not receive your reminder SMS or call, your appointment remains your responsibility to attend or reschedule at least 24 hours in advance.
Due to the difficulty of filling last-minute cancellations, we respectfully request 24 hours notice. If this request is not fulfilled, it may be necessary to charge a Missed Appointment Fee or Last-Minute Cancellation Fee of $50.
We also may reserve the right to charge the cost of the treatment upfront before making another appointment.
Please understand that we consider this a last resort, with the real motivating factor being our concern for the quality of service we are able to provide to you and to our other valued clients.
Please do bear in mind that we are an Emergency Service, and may take longer for unexpected emergency treatment. We will endeavour to inform you as soon as possible if this affects your upcoming appointment.
