At Aperture Dental Practice, your appointment is our priority. This means that your time is reserved exclusively for you. We do not double book our patients. At any one time, we schedule one appointment per dentist, and dedicate our resources to that patient.

One of the ways we keep our costs affordable for our patients is the efficient use of equipment and time. Please understand that missed or broken appointments represent a cost to us, and to other patients who could have been seen in the time set aside for you.

Please note that a $50 Cancellation Fee will apply for Missed Appointments, Late Cancellations, or Late Arrivals*.

MISSED APPOINTMENTS

Missed appointments means a failure to show up for your appointment without giving prior notice.

LATE CANCELLATIONS

Late Cancellations means cancelling or rescheduling of your appointment less than 48 hours before your appointment date/time.

Our front office staff will aim to send you a reminder SMS two days before your appointment. However, please bear in mind that if you do not receive your reminder SMS or phone call, your appointment remains your responsibility to attend or reschedule with sufficient notice.

LATE ARRIVALS

Late arrivals mean arriving more than 15 minutes after your appointment start time.

While we endeavour to accomodate unexpected delays, it may mean it is no longer possible to proceed with your appointment, requiring you to reschedule to another day. This will incur a $50 Cancellation Fee.

If you think you are/will be running late, please give us a ring to let us know, so we can make appropriate arrangements.

CANCELLATION FEE

Cancellations Fees are charged per patient appointment (not per family).

All Cancellation Fees must be paid prior to, or on the day of, your next appointment.

We reserve the right to refuse any future appointment bookings should Cancellation Fees not be fully paid.

DEPOSIT

If there is a history of multiple (3 or more) cancellations, missed appointments or reschedules (excluding Prebook Appointment reschedules), we will require a non-refundable $100 deposit prior to booking your appointment. We also reserve the right to charge the cost of the treatment upfront before making another appointment.

If your appointment is booked for 90 minutes or longer, we will require a non-refundable deposit of $200 at the time of booking. 

Your deposits will go towards your treatment fee when you attend your appointment as planned. 

Deposits will be forfeited if you cancel your appointment, reschedule with less than 48 hours notice, or fail to attend your appointment.

Please understand that we consider these measures a last resort, with the real motivating factor being our commitment and concern for the quality of service we are able to provide to you and to all our valued patients.

Please do bear in mind that we are an Emergency Service, and may take longer for unexpected emergency treatment. We will endeavour to inform you as soon as possible if this affects your upcoming appointment.
