Meet Dr. Erik Fung

BDS (Liverpool, UK), MFDS (UK)

Dr. Erik is a certified Invisalign Provider and has undergone extensive training in orthodontics and facial aesthetics. 

He holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics and Graduate Diploma of Aesthetic Orthodontics (Sequential Aligner Therapy) from the City of London Dental School.

While he helps you to achieve your straight teeth beautiful smile, he takes into account other factors as part of your care. This includes overall smile aesthetics (i.e what makes a smile look beautiful?), facial proportions, jaw joint function and stability, as well as a balanced biting forces to avoid unnecessary wear and tear over the long term.

Dr. Erik Fung also offers all aspects of general dental care and orthodontics, including crown and bridge, dental implants, veneers, ZOOM teeth whitening, management of jaw problems (TMJ disorder), and dentures.

Some Financial FAQ's

Will my private health insurance cover the cost of my Clear Aligner treatment?

Your private health insurance may provide a certain amount of rebate each calendar year of your treatment, depending on your level of ‘Extras’ cover within your policy.

Check if your private health insurance includes Extras cover for Orthodontic treatment, and your lifetime limit that can be claimed for Orthodontic treatment.

Do you offer discounts?

Yes! We offer a 5% discount for up-front payment of your total treatment fee. 

Do you have payment plans?

Yes! We have a few interest-free payment plan options, including Afterpay, DentiCare, Humm/National Dental Plan and Zipmoney.

Typically, you should be able to spread a large portion of your payment over 6-24 months, interest-free.

Do you bulk-bill for Clear Aligner treatment?

No. Medicare does not provide for orthodontic treatment at a private dental practice, so we are not able to bulk-bill your Clear Aligner treatment.

Terms and Conditions:

  • Maintaining Your Oral Health: We strongly recommend a checkup and clean within the last 6 months, along with the completion of any pending dental treatments. This is to ensure there are no complications with your orthodontic treatment.
  • Eligibility for Offer: This promotion is exclusive to new Invisalign patients. Kindly note that this promotion cannot be transferred to individuals currently undergoing orthodontic treatment at Aperture Dental Practice. 
  • Initial Consultation: A deposit of $60 is required for the consultation appointment, which will be reimbursed to you upon your attendance. Please be aware that this fee is non-refundable in the event of a no-show, or if you cancel/reschedule your consultation appointment with less than 48 hours notice.
  • Full Treatment Cost: Treatment cost may vary subject to case complexity. Your dentist will inform you of any variations to the cost at the treatment planning stage. $5599 applies to full up-front payment. Payment plan (excluding PAI) starts from $54/week over 2 years (total cost $5616).
  • Retention: Fixed and removable retainers are separate from this promotion and will be discussed during your consultation.
